How we are here already?! Where is this year going!?
Im sure you have seen the buzz over on social media! So many pups and puppy parents are getting ready to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK, and various other charities this month.
So many of us have been touched by cancer. We all know someone who has been impacted, lost loved ones and have amazing stories to share.
There are so many caused and campaigns running this March. Its Ovarian cancer awareness month here in the UK, as well as the Marie Curie daffodil campaign, which has been going since 1986. March the Month is a virtual walking challenge everyone can get involved with. Walk 11,000 steps a day throughout March to represent more than 11,000 dads, partners, grandads, sons, brothers, uncles and mates who die from prostate cancer every year. Walk all over cancer with Cancer Research UK - which many pups are taking part in too, just to name just a few.
We have chosen here at Puppy Post to support 2 very worthy causes, as well as supporting all of the pups that are raising funds for many different charities.
Our first charity this month... We will be fundraising alongside many brands for Cancer Research UK!
Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster. So every penny we raise is going to help them continue their much-needed work! Check them out HERE!
We will also be supporting the Animal Cancer Trust. ACT is taking the fight to cancer! They aim to provide education and information that help owners, the veterinary profession and all who care for our pets understand more about cancer and what treatments are possible. You can check them out HERE!
